Do you worry you are wasting your life with the wrong decisions?
Maybe you’ve recently started to question who you are, your relationships, and what you want from life or maybe the fear of “falling behind” your peers plagues you?
You thought adulthood would finally be the time that you felt secure, successful, and confident about who you are in the world, but lately you’ve felt paralyzed by the amount of new responsibilities and expectations that come with this decade. You may be struggling to advance in a career or dealing with imposter syndrome. Perhaps you’re feeling lost, disappointed, and uncertain about your romantic life.
With all of these challenges, you’ve become more disconnected from yourself and you are beginning to notice the impact of this in every facet of your life:
Struggling to stay focused and productive at work
Suffering from self-criticism, perfectionism, and procrastination
Neglecting your self-care, friendships, and romantic relationships
Lacking the confidence to fully contribute or advocate for yourself in your relationships or at work.
Constantly feeling exhausted from having to make important life decisions
Worrying about not meeting societal milestones and agonizing over “having it all together” .
Feeling inadequate with a deep sense of loneliness
It may feel impossible now, but you can navigate this with less stress and greater confidence and I can help you get there.
Our work can help you by:
Developing a deeper sense of self-trust so your internal compass can guide you instead of defaulting societal or familial expectations that no longer fit.
Examining your values, desires, and purpose so you can gain clarity about yourself and make decisions about your future that are aligned with you.
Learning how to set boundaries, communicate effectively, and balance personal needs with the expectations of others.
Creating personal shifts in your dating or romantic relationships through thoughtful consideration of your wants, needs, and patterns that play out with others.
Expanding your assertiveness and self-advocacy skills so you no longer overcommitment or burnout due to unrealistic expectations that are mentally draining.
Advancing your ability to de-stress and emotionally regulate when life throws unexpected and/or drastic changes your way.
It’s time to find your place in the world
And I would love to help you get there.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with specialized experience in working with young men ages 20-35 years old. My qualifications include a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, as well as my lived experience. I’m trained in psychodynamic, person-centered, and trauma informed therapeutic approaches. I am mindful of the ways in which our past experiences show up in our present day, that then impact our actions and relationships, and even in our bodies. I always aim to maintain a holistic lens in my work.

Research shows that about 75% of people who receive psychotherapy experience symptom relief and are better able to function in their lives. Psychotherapy has been shown to improve emotional and psychological well-being and is linked with positive changes in the brain and body. Numerous studies have identified brain changes in people with mental illness (including depression, panic disorder, PTSD and other conditions) as a result of undergoing psychotherapy.

While I’m not an in-network provider for insurance, I can provide a monthly superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. I recommend contacting your insurance provider to confirm your out-of-network benefits, including details on your deductible, coverage amounts, and the number of sessions covered. If you have a PPO, there’s a good chance you’ll be partially reimbursed. Please note, if you choose to seek reimbursement, I am required to include a diagnosis on the superbill, which will become part of your medical record.

To begin, we will schedule an initial consultation where you can share your unique challenges with me. During this meeting, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss what you hope to gain from therapy. Together, we will create a personalized plan tailored to your needs. I recommend committing to regular weekly sessions so that we can build a strong rapport and maintain consistency, ensuring that you feel supported as you navigate the complexities of your life.

To help get the most out of psychotherapy, approach the therapy as a collaborative effort, be open and honest, and follow your agreed upon plan for treatment. Follow through with any work between sessions, such as writing in a journal or practicing what we’ve talked about.
